Procedure Testing

In the Mechanical Testing and Metallography departments, the steps relating to procedure testing are performed. Procedure testing, or welding procedure, means that we verify the material and the mechanical properties of steel and weld.

To ensure a welding procedure, non-destructive testing (NDT) and destructive testing (DT) are performed.

Welding procedures are a requirement

The requirement applies to companies performs/work against for example:

  • EN 1090-2, EN 1090-4 (Building forging and steel structures)
  • EN 13445 (Pressure vessels according to PED)
  • ISO 3834 (Certification of welding companies)
  • SS-EN ISO 15614
  • ASME
  • NORSOK »
  • NACE
