Ocular examination

During the breakdown or damage examination it is important to initially examine and document the detail in its entirety. The observations made during th ocular examination help us to make the right decision about which tests and examinations should be performed to draw the correct conclusions about the type and cause of the damage.

Further tests can be fractography, mechanical testing, analysis of chemical composition (OES), analysis of coatings, analysis of corrosion products, macroscopic and microscopic examination of taken sections, and examination and analysis in our scanning electron microscope (SEM).
