Privacy policy

Safe Control Materialtechnology AB is actively working to protect our customers and other contacts' personal data. The new law, the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), which came into force on May 25, 2018, strengthens the company's privacy policy.

Safe Control takes a number of steps to ensure that your personal data is handled in accordance with the GDPR and we think it is important to share them. Below you can read about your rights and how we save and process your personal information as a customer and/or supplier to us.

1. General
Safe Control respects your privacy and the right to control your personal information and we are open with what data we collect, why and how it is saved. Safe Control is a data controller in accordance with these terms and is responsible for processing according to current legislation.

2. Personal data
By submitting your personal information to Safe Control you agree that Safe Control stores and otherwise processes your personal information. When processing personal data, high security and confidentiality are always observed. No information is disclosed to third parties for commercial use or for any purpose without consent.

Personal data is processed manually (upon registration) and digitally (e-mail, financial system, report writing, report sent digitally as PDF document).

Register and storage period
Safe Control keeps a register of customers and suppliers and stores your personal information as long as you are a customer with us, and then for 7 (seven) years according to the Accounting Act. Safe Control also records information if you contact us via email, by phone, our websites and social media - these data will be saved only during the processing time, but no later than 7 (seven) years if the contact involves a business transaction.

E-mail messages are saved only during the processing time and then deleted. In cases where an e-mail is associated with a current or future assignment, it is stored in the project folder on our secure servers and deleted immediately from the e-mail client.

Newsletters and customer surveys
The content of our newsletters is only information, knowledge and added value about our business, our education section and business-related news. We only save your e-mail addresses and these are safely stored with our provider that provides the mailing service.

Information that may be disclosed
We can share information with other companies that process data on our behalf in order to perform our services, such as a subcontractor performing a test or analysis. The information we provide is your first and last name for documentation in the report.

In the register, the following information is saved when you hire us through our webshop, Your name, postal address, phone number and e-mail address.

Business customers
Safe Control collects the information primarily from you as a customer. In the register, the following information is stored when hiring us: Company address, organization number, billing details (postal address, e-mail address) and delivery address. Personal data is saved to the contact and/or reference person in the form of name, mobile number and e-mail address.

Information on financial conditions for companies is available on a continuous basis from a third party. Payment terms are adjusted continuously according to the information we receive.

The register contains the following information stored in our supplier's register: Company name, address, organization number, bank account.

3. Request for registry extract
You are entitled to receive, on written request, information about what information is registered about you and the purpose for which these data are processed.

You aslo have the right to request removal of your personal information. Note that this is not always possible when the Accounting Act applies (seven years).
