Sampling instructions

It is expected that the sample extraction is performed by appropriately trained personnel. Representative sample is taken from the material and placed in tightly sealed plastic bag/zipper bag, which is labeled for clear identification.

If you are looking for sampling instructions regarding water quality testing, you find them here »

We need to know the following:

  • What is the type of material (sealants, linoleum, carpet, glue, paint, etc)
  • Where each sample is taken from (address and space/room), marked with e.g. project number.
  • Contact person, phone number and e-mail.
  • Who we will send the invoice to and where the analysis report shall be sent (if not the same as invoice address).
  • Desired time of delivery of test results.

Order form
If you submit sample/samples you need to enclose an order form in which this information is filled in.

Appropriate size, for example carpets, are approximately 50x50 mm. In the analysis of fixed and joints a piece of the tile or tile plate can be enclosed, along with any other layer of material, such as plaster and waterproofing.

All samples can be sent or submitted in separate bags to avoid/reduce the risk of contamination. If a seam is to be analyzed for both PCB and asbestos,  it is desirable that the PCB piece is wrapped in aluminum foil. Upon request we provide sample bags.

If you as a private individual wishing to make an analysis we ask you to order at our online store, (website in Swedish).

Submit the samples
Place the bags along with the order form in a padded bag, label it with "Environment samples" and send it to the address below. Once the analysis is done, you get a test result via email.
